2006 Directed by Roy Knyrim
Synopsis
Meet the new gate keeper.
When two ecologists break-in the laboratory of Dr. Belmont, they find a box with a subject and they decide to set the experiment free in the woods. During the transportation, the box opens and releases the mutant Tasmanian Devil that devours the two activists and escapes to the woods. Meanwhile, Dr. Belmont's son Hunter travels in a van with four friends to film a horror movie in the cemetery in the woods, while Belmont and his associate Dr. Christine Kollar seek their deadly experiment called Precious.

Sometimes, all one needs is the pleasure of a monster movie with gallons of cheesy gore and a ridiculous looking creature. And boy, does CEMETERY GATES deliver. PHANTASM icon Reggie Bannister plays a foolish but well intended scientist who creates a mutant Tasmanian devil that looks like the bear from PROPHECY crossed with the creature from IN THE WOODS.
But, of course, it gets loose in a forest and a cemetery, where Bannister's son is shooting a short horror film! Can he save his son in time, along with their strained relationship? CEMETERY GATES feels like it has only two brain cells in its head, and I wouldn't want it any other way. So much fun.
