The most pretentious list I have ever made. In my book, these are the films you must see to be…
That humble radiant terrific book is now a humble radiant terrific movie.
Wilbur the pig is scared of the end of the season, because he knows that come that time, he will end up on the dinner table. He hatches a plan with Charlotte, a spider that lives in his pen, to ensure that this will never happen.
I never understood what made Charlotte's Web such a fantastic children's story in the eyes of many, but this movie serves the book quite well. The characters are well-constructed, and the musical numbers are kind of fun. Some pig.
great for the kids!
I nostalgia'd hard.
Family, Childrens, Animated
My other favorite movie.
A fumbled animated attempt at adapting the classic novel. The musical here failed to capture the heart of E.B. White's story.
Raise your hand if you've heard this story way too many times.
Somehow incredibly hilarious but not in the sense that it wants to be. Some nice tunes...but the true power is how honest this film feels to me. Anyone looking for life's answers will look no further. Devastating.
