AKA Rupert Grint’s attempt to be treated as a serious actor post-Harry Potter. In fairness to Grint he actually does a surprisingly decent job here, not only getting a Northern Ireland accent pretty spot on but also stepping out of the rather large Ron Weasley shadow. He is also ably supported by Robert Sheehan (Misfits) and Kimberley Nixon as the other teens caught in a destructive love triangle.
Unfortunately, despite the good performances and strong score by David Holmes, the rest of the film is little more than a checklist of the usual teenage issues. So we get a whistle stop tour of drink, drugs, sex, petty crime and dysfunctional families without adding any great insight or providing an original voice to an already overcrowded market. There is very little fundamentally wrong with the film but you’ll get a strong feeling that you’ve seen it all before.

This movie was kind of pointless.

The acting isn't half bad, but the storyline is lazy and ridden with clichès.

The December Project Movie 3:
A fairly typical teenage drama, you have attractive young actors, drugs, violence, family trouble and the list goes on.
I think Rupert Grint is fantastic, I love him as Ron Weasley and I think he is excellent in this, same goes for Robert Meehan (I think that is his name) he is excellent in Misfits and he is the same twisted character in this, just out for a laugh with a lot of baggage.
The are a lot of serious family issues thrown around, you have the good, well-to-do son and the drug dealing anarchist, somehow best friends, throw in a hot blonde (Kimberley Nixon, Fresh Meat) and shit happens as the two compete for her attention.
It is great to watch, the cast are all great, the story isn't original but you know what you're getting, so if you like this sort of thing you shouldn't be disapointed. -
British accent makes everything better.

A love triangle for the ‘Skins’ generation, with two young Irish lads vying for the affections of Michelle, with the added complication being that she’s the daughter of their boss at the local leisure centre. The characters are well drawn and the contrast between the three families gives it some emotional weight alongside the lighter elements of the plot. It’s nicely played and benefits from a hip soundtrack supervised by David Holmes.

Absolutely brilliant! I loved every bit of it! I thought the acting was fairly good and so was the storyline! It was also nice to see Rupert Grint in something else other than Harry Potter and the same goes for Robert Sheehan from Misfits.

I think it's very over-rated. A Harry Potter/Misfits fan will probably go bananas, when she/he hears about this movie (at least I did at first) but seriously, it was pretty pointless.
Kudos to the cast but other then that nothing special. A pretty OK movie to watch but seriously, almost nothing happens in the movie.
If you have low expectations, you will probably like it. If you have high expectations, don't.
