Politics aside, the filmmaking here was somewhat revolutionary. Animated reinactments of court transcripts plus archival audio and film make for a riviting retelling of the protests and trial surrounding the 1968 Democratic convention.
An interesting soundtrack with a blend of period and contemporary music. It felt somewhat disingenuous to hear The Beastie Boys or Rage Against the Machine against the grainy newsreel footage of the late 1960's.
Overall, a compelling retelling on the 40th anniversary of those events.
