I was once again bored out of my skull, so I hopped onto Google and typed up films that feature a person or people running, in some form or another. Chariots of Fire is an obvious example, which I have seen and have a fondness for. An extensive search later, two films caught my attention: The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Clockwork Mice; the former I watched yesterday on TV and the latter I watched today on YouTube.
Clockwork Mice starts off extremely average: A new teacher is introduced to a special needs school, the pupils don't take him too kindly at first (for reasons beyond my comprehension as it's not quite explained thoroughly), they swear their mouths off and…
