Lackluster quickie from producer Sam Katzman with a great, crazy premise but doesn't yield any satisfying results with it. Instead, this one just feels terribly bland.

This movie was pretty dull. It's paced okay in the sense that stuff does happen. The problem is that the stuff that happens was stuff I didn't care about. The bodies under control were not scary. This would maybe be scary to a little kid but not to me. The characters are dull. The script is dull. It's just a dull film. It's not exciting, nor is it fun. It's not a terrible film but it's just not good. Not worth a watch.

Classic era 50's Sci-fi.
Just as enoyable as it is ridiculous.

Based on Curt Siodmak’s influential book, this atomic zombie film is kind of tedious. A scientist and a gnagster resurrect the dead to carry out a standard revenge plot until the cops figure out what’s going on. It’s pretty heavy on the science, and the plot is a little more ridiculous than the film seems ready to admit. Remade as the much better Donovan’s Brain.
