Amazing and typical tim burton's film!

An hilarious film. Exceeded expectations by an order or magnitude. Dialog is witty and exceptionally well delivered by Depp. Late is the hour of this "me too" review-- but if you still havent seen Dark Shadows, please accept my emphatic endorsement.

When I was a young boy I, like many others, went to see Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. I left that cinema with one sure thought: One day, I would be Obi Wan Kenobi. I completely loved the film (hey! Don't judge me, I was 9, and the pretty light sabres and Jedi mind tricks toyed with my mind.) I spent a lot of my childhood like this. I don't like Burton movies so much, but i love all the Johnny Depp's films. This especially is very good. I like the late 70's and terror, this film has both.
Great Depp vampire character, i really liked it.
Thumbs up for Alice Cooper. The ugly Mrs. Cooper hahaha -
Everything is different if Jhony Depp is in it, an entirely new vampire story
PS: Here we see a vampire using tooth brush -
I really enjoy this campy dark comedy. I was laughing through the whole movie. Movies are meant to entertain, and this movie was definitely worth the $.
My only criticism is that it seems that they tried to fit a lot into a short film, but I understand why. The soap opera it was based off of was on the air for 5 years, so I think they felt they needed to fit a lot in. -
Dark Shadows was so simplistically entertaining and I loved it. A perfect movie for one of those nights where nothing good is on tv and you're not looking to watch anything in particular. Not being familiar with the original television series, my friend and I went and ended up really enjoying it. Johnny Depp was the perfect choice and it was a great vampire comedy. (Not like I've seen many of those but you know what I mean.) The acting was great, the humor was spot on, I would definitely recommend.
