Known in the UK as 'Zombie Driller Killer: Invasion of the Flesh Eating Living Dead'.. seriously. I went into this with completely different expectations.
More virus/infection than zombie film, a interesting cross between George A Romero's The Crazies and Abel Ferrara's The Driller Killer.
The story is based around a series of attacks where a mysterious man dressed in overalls, drills and injects a black oil substance into the victim's brain turning them into a mindless, rotting 'zombies' which slowly decay and have no need to feed or become aggressive.
Sadly the plot never really comes together and much is left unexplained at the end of the film. Although I did enjoy the father/daughter relationship which manages to be absurd and depressing at the same time.
A strange film, not for everyone but certainly if you have a fetish for drills and/or men in orange overalls.

This was a pretty decent zombie/virus movie.

Not a serious effort.
