As a kid this was right up there with The Exorcist. After watching Bad Ronald I had to follow it up with Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. I've heard mixed things about the remake so I might stay away.

Darby moves into a house and accidentally lets out some small, prune-faced creatures who live in her fireplace. They want to reclaim her. It’s a little stagy, and Kim Darby is such a weird screen preseence, but this made-for-TV ’70s horror movie is a decent enough chiller featuring a few genuinely effective scenes.

Pitch perfect old dark house made for tv film starring the incredible Kim Darby...With brilliant Italian horror colors, and perhaps one of the earliest films in women's liberation horror, this is an incredible film and if you saw it as a kid, it changed your life...For an exclusive interview with Kim Darby about this film, please visit in Feb. 2012 - mondofilmpodcast.com
