Synopsis
If you want to live you will obey

Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations – using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. As the situation escalates, these two ordinary people become the country's most wanted fugitives, who must work together to discover what is really happening – and more importantly, why.

A big piece of shit!
Half a star for me getting through to the end. -
For such an implausible film, Eagle Eye sure does take itself seriously...

I may be generous in my rating, but I am a sucker for non-stop action, well done effects, and Shia LeBeouf's face.

Well I was going to write a longer review of Eagle Eye, after reading the things others said about it. I decided against it so that I could save my rant for another day because this came out a few years ago and is similar to a lot of other movies that people tend to complain about.
Eagle Eye is an entertaining movie. Its not the best movie and has problems but has some great action sequences, including car chases and conveyer belts. The director made the right decision to limit the digital effects and go with traditional ones, as well as making the pacing very consistent. It never gets slow or boring. The acting is decent even though I was expecting more from Billy Bob Thorton. The biggest problem is the story. There are a few "why?" and "uh?" moments that don't make sense.
So just sit on the couch, eat your popcorn and let yourself be entertained.

This film is one of the best action packed movie i've seen. This movie used a psychological vibe to make the audience become satisfied. The cast were outstanding and the whole idea of the CIA involved to destroy this super computer that was threatening two normal civilians was astonishing and hoping that this movie will change the idea of action movies as this shows what action movie are supposed to be, not "Green Lantern" and basically every "Arnold Schwarzenegger" movie there is (except for terminator, that was pretty good).

Filme policial/ação que até dá para divertir. Mas pega um elemento muito batido - a máquina assassina onipresente - como motivador de toda a trama. No fim, é o mesmo besteirol de sempre, com heroísmo anônimo, em meio a uma história intricada.

Take Enemy of the State, remove all logic and believability, and what you get is Eagle Eye.
Wait... Enemy had logic and believability? Compared to this, yeah it did...
Eagle Eye is a movie that should rate higher. So much about it works. The cast and acting is great across the board, especially Shia LaBeouf; the look of the film and direction are fine; the action sequences are intense and exciting. All the elements are there... except for one key element: the story.
The story is SO far out there, with so many holes and completely unbelievable aspects, that it's difficult to suspend disbelief enough to fully enjoy the film. You can still give it the benefit of the doubt…

Amiable but moronic sub-Bay techno thriller. The most disappointing thing is there's the bare bones of an interesting film in the opening half hour before it degenerates into repetitive implausible action sequences and laughable contrivances. A special shout-out to Billy Bob Thornton for one of the worst performances I can remember seeing offhand too.

DAMN TECHNOLOGY, YOU SCARY!

A dumb but fun Netflix-type action flick.

Shia LaBeouf is a college dropout mistaken for a terrorist by a US government overly fond of surveillance. Forced to become a fugitive, he teams with earnest single mum Monaghan (also on the run).
Very silly techno thriller that really shouldn't work but despite its many plot holes and preposterous reliance on gadgets it's rather quite fun. Well directed by DJ Caruso and Shia LaBeouf shines as the leading man -
