Despite it being horribly unpopular and only remembered for its association with Daredevil, I actually do like this film. It's cheesy, it doesn't really know what it wants to be about and the script is in dire need of a couple good rewrites, but it still outdoes the inferior Daredevil movie for one fantastic reason: it is the closest thing to a live-action remake of Ninja Scroll we may ever get. It's hard not to notice the plagiarism and the more it rips off of Ninja Scroll. the more fun the film is.

Why does this film get so much crap? It's not faithful to the book, and there are plot holes everywhere, but it's still an enjoyable comic book movie. Even at it's worst, it's still better than Daredevil, but then again I can't stand looking at Ben Affleck's face, so that might have something to do with it as well.

I was hoping this would be better than Daredevil. I was hoping it would mention Daredevil. No on both counts. Sadly, I sat there mostly bored through the whole thing and wondering when it would really get more action-packed and less predictable. It just didn't do anything for me.

Though Elektra wasn't boring and featured interesting visuals, it was too incompetently directed, written and performed to be taken seriously. Both the plot and the characters were too sloppy, so far as to make the film a nearly unbearable mess. What a dreadful joke this movie is compared to most Marvel films.

An interesting follow-up to Daredevil with great effects and an interesting story. While Garner is solid in the acting department – she lacks the physical power the part called for. Still this is a lot of fun to watch.

Elektra" ist für einen Kinobesuch in keinem Fall zu empfehlen. Zu schwach ist die Story, zu schlecht die Schauspieler und zu billig die Effekte. Wer sich eine Comicverfilmung im Kino ansehen möchte sollte sich lieber für "Constantine" entscheiden oder sich im Heimkino mit "Spiderman" vergnügen.
