I've come to realize that maybe the reason why I have not liked the majority of the Robert De Niro film from the last ten years or so is because I have begun to realize that this great actor will not be around forever and these last ten years he has maybe realized it to because he is giving the great performances that he has been giving for the majority of his acting career. He seemed to do more more comedic performances these last ten years and even admitted that one of the parent movies he did for money and not for the film. This film is one of his better performances from then and he really cares the film…

Aw, damnit. I thought this was a movie about a used-car salesman turned contract killer because I was drunk. This is not about usedcaresalesmenkillers at all. AT ALL. Instead, Robert Dinero is a passive aggressive peehole whose kids are a bundle of douchebags, but everybody's fine by the end. Of course.
Don't drink and pick movies, folks.

Touching family drama that hits all the usual notes and teeters on the brink of being overly melodramatic. However, it's well put together and has the best DeNiro performance I've seen in years.

Thanks Kirk Jones for making my day even more depressing.
Not sure how you can fit a genuine drama into ninety minutes but this film tries to do it....then tacks a happy ending on.
De Niro's performance is alright but man he deserves better material than this.

First of all as someone indicated before the cover gets you a wrong impression of the film. It's not a comedy even though it's got its funny moments.
But now, it's a quiz! What else is wrong on the cover? Go ahead, see it and you'll know! -
Elisabeth thought this was a romantic comedy for some reason so we rented this based on that aspect and were a tad disappointed that it was not. We both watched for different reasons, mine for Drew and hers for Kate. The premise of the movie was good, well written and a great cast of characters. I cried… so I recommend kleenex and Elisabeth, who rarely cries at anything had a moment too. In sadness, it was very emotional… but the end joy was heartwarming… On the plus side, it was nice to see Drew Barrymore’s character confused about her sexuality and ending up at the end with Shane from the L-Word.

¨If you would ask me I would have to say in all honesty, everybody`s fine. Everybody`s fine.¨
Kirk Jones (who also directed Nanny McPhee and Waking Ned Divine) directs this italian remake from the 90`s called Stanno Tutti Bene. He also is given credit for adapting the original screenplay to suit this american version better. The film works because De Niro gives a pretty powerful performance and makes you forget all the cliches the film has. Yes, it is very formulaic and we know every single kid will have something to hide from his father, they all have a problem, and they all are withholding information from him. The journey De Niro`s character is making will be revealing and teach…

I seem to be in the minority on this one, but I actually quite enjoyed "Everybody's Fine." Robert De Niro delivers a fine performance, and the supporting cast (particularly Sam Rockwell) help to elevate the script above its problems. This is a movie with a great cast and great small moments. It's not a great film, but it is certainly better than people are making it out to be.

Leskeksi jäänyt isukki road trippailee yllätysvisiitille lastensa luo. Jäykät tapaamiset viestii, ettei kaikki ole niinkuin on annettu ymmärtää.
Aidosti herkkää ja sympaattista, emotionaalista, draamakomediaa.

The first part was very emotional (on a good way) but to the end it was a bit unintelligible for me and this (this = the kids) make me angry...
Sorry Robert, this was not you fault <3

"Robert De Niro one of the greatest actors ever, gives one of his best performances in a LONG while. He plays the sweet, caring & always worried dad very well. Frank is one of his best characters he's offered as well. The supporting cast (Beckinsale, Rockwell & Barrymore) gives fine performances as Frank's adult kids. Everybody's Fine is quite sad, depressing & beautifully-shot."
