Busey is at his un-Buseyist as the most grounded character in this biker revenge flick. While the first half starts off promising with the villains performing some truly despicable acts, the third act fizzles with a letdown of a final fight and unclear motivations for the biker gang's torment of Busey. Strangely, it feels like the sequel in a series that never had the first movie. If you want some true '80s Busey insanity, you're better off going with Bulletproof. Watched for BMFcast episode 106.

A well shot, almost 70s style, coming home to find my home town in jeopardy movie that goes all out batshit 80s madness with a souped up pick up and, the always awesome, Yaphet Kotto listening to soul flying a cool red plane. Never quite as exciting or cheesy as it really needs to be but not bad either.

Some seriously fun, Busey action.

A pretty standard vigilante vs gang flick set apart by enjoyable performances from Gary Busey and the always reliable Yaphet Kotto, as well as leading up to a surprisingly action-packed finale that pretty much makes the film worthwhile.

This was the second time I'd viewed this "revenge against the evil bikers" flick. Gary Busey isn't particularly crazy, which is disappointing, and the bikers aren't fleshed out in any way. The whole thing feels more like a collection of ideas than an actual cohesive story, but there are some great moments regardless. Seek it out.

Gary Busey goes on a rampage after a motorcycle gang kill his wife and traumatize his child. Survivor's overrated and annoying Eye of the Tiger manages to play 3 times throughout the film, to remind you that the title really has no bearing on the plot or story but to cash in on the popularity of the song. Still, it's kinda dumb fun.

MAD MAX meets WALKING TALL, starring Gary Busey. A somewhat bad film that turns out to be far more entertaining than you'd expect. Busey is as Busey does. Watch out for a candle up the bum!

About as thrilling as an episode of the A-Team with some decapitations thrown in. I'd like to think this is less a film and more a lightly fictionalized story of how Gary Busey finally cracked up.

Good job Mr. Busey. You taught those bikers a lesson. This film was pretty fun.

William Smith in Universal Soldier: Eye of the Tiger. The final shot accidentally references The Beyond.

Absolutely insanity (Yaphet Kotto bombing a gang of crack dealing bikers from the air in a red biplane while wearing aviator's cap and scarf) paced with relatively rote 80s revenge stuff. That being said, the leads are Gary Busey, Kotto, Seymour Cassel and William Smith. How does that even happen?
