Horror Gem. Plays like a De Palma thriller with a dash of slasher for an extra kick. Great characterization. High tension. Effective kills. Jennifer Jason Leigh joins Cass(The Hills Have Eyes 2) as another badass blind 'final'.

A disappointing slasher/thriller with very poor script. Gets an extra point for featuring Jennifer Jason Leigh but she's not on screen nearly enough. Jennifer plays an interesting character in this and a more central role for her might have lifted the whole film. The end was great but it was to little to late.

Not awfully interesting stalk and slash movie with that improbable genre staple, the intrepid female news reader. Go girl!

Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance holds this, her first cinema release, together. Overall it's a pretty standard slasher film, with a fantastic last fifteen minutes.

The acting, for the most part, is terrible and many things don't make sense. However, you can enjoy this film for Tom Savini's great gore effects and the atmosphere for suspense almost works. Plus you get an early performance from a young Jennifer Jason Leigh as a deaf mute in case you're curious how she acted at age 18.

Little-known American giallo that is as paper-thin as it is stupid. But there is an attempt to create a genuine air of menace that they almost pull off. Noteworthy for the Tom Savini gore effects and an 18-year-old Jennifer Jason Leigh as a deaf, blind and mute girl who gets sexually assaulted. If that's your cup of tea, dig in.

Tom Savini’s effects give this thriller a brutal horror edge. Featuring several similar set-ups to Someone’s Watching Me!, it’s a passable supsense effort that has a TV news anchor discovering the identity of a local serial killer, and trying to out him.
