Family Guy + Star Wars = winning combination

Like the "Stewie Griffin" movie it's shockingly unfunny compared to your typical Family Guy episode. For some reason they play Star Wars VERY straight. It's not really even parody, it's just a 40 minute animated remake.

Kinda funny, I guess. But a lot of the jokes are missed and flat.

This was friggin hysterical. I love Star Wars and I love Family Guy. The mix of both was too funny!

It's been awhile since I watched the Family Guy Star Wars series (I actually haven't seen It's a Trap yet), so I figured it would be a decent investment when Amazon had the Blu-ray trilogy on sale for $15. Granted, I didn't like Blue Harvest all that much when I first watched it, but... whatever. So after re-watching this special for the first time in a few years, I have to say that I enjoyed a lot more than before. The Blu-ray quality was pretty shitty, and just looked like an upconverted DVD. Otherwise, it was a fun way to spend an hour.

The first time I watched this I wasn't that familiar with Family Guy. I enjoyed it but didn't get some of the jokes.
Now as Family Guy fan, I went back to this and enjoyed it a lot more. It's fast and funny, with the gags hitting more than they miss.
I'm not a prude and I'd like to think that I have a good sense of humour but it still really annoys me that Herbert is cast in the Obi-Wan Kenobi role, it doesn't actually create that much humour for me.
Stewie as Darth Vader is a master stroke and having Adam West as Tarkin is brilliant too. -
