Synopsis
Frenemies is a 2012 television film and anthology based on the novel of the same name by Alexa Young premiered on Disney Channel.[1] It features an ensemble cast of Bella Thorne, Zendaya Coleman, Stefanie Scott, Nick Robinson, and Mary Mouser. The film follows three pairs of friends that go from friends to enemies and back again. The film is to be directed by Daisy Mayer and written by Dava Savel, Wendy Weiner, and Jim Krieg. The Disney Channel Original Movie will premiere in May 2012 in the UK and premiered on January 13, 2012 in the United States and Canada.

These were three very predictable, yet still enjoyable stories. I can't help but to think the movie would have been slightly better if the stories were intertwined rather than three separate segments. Although I suppose that has to do with children's attention spans. Also they turned from friends to frenemies back to friends way too quickly. There never seemed to be any real conflict.
I think the rich girl, slightly less girl swap was my favorite of the three. I didn't really understand why everyone broke out into a dance number at the end of it, but the characters also seemed a bit confused by this too. It was at the very least the funniest of the stories. I certainly didn't think I would laugh at this movie as hard as I did at this line:
"Is that my pool boy? I'd know for sure if he was holding some towels or something."
