Synopsis
A young man from East Germany travels to San Francisco to search for his father, who fled 12 years ago. Together with his best friend, he starts the journey from New York with no money and the only word they ever learned in english-lessons: "friendship".

y´know. all the the luck these two idiots had during their journey put aside. this movie is nowhere grounded in reality when music from today is sprinkled over the montages like goddam chocolte bits over cupcakes. when the movie is set in 1989. the basic plot could have delivered and it desperately tried to tie the knot in the end but didn´t archieve any of the golas it wanted to get. a cheesy, over the top film straight out the til schweiger film school. what a waist. I should have watched soul kitchen instead. meh.

Wirklich gut gemachter Film, den ich immer wieder gucken kann. Die Szene im Club ist die Beste ;)
