Hee-hee. This is not a good film, but darned if I didn't have some fun with it. It was great seeing Sam Elliott this young (who knew that his hair hadn't always been grey?), playing the same sort of character for which he would become famous. All of the characters in this film are larger than life and easy to either root for or against. Of course, no one really cares about them. We're here for the frogs.
Apparently the frogs simply have better agents than the rest of the creatures that infest this film, as multiple animals have teamed up to stomp on the humans who don't respect their land (at least, I guess that's why the animals attack;…

Bought this years ago on DVD for $1. Watched it with a friend and were disappointed that the hilarious cheesy premise wasn't even remotely fun to watch. Boring and dull for almost the entire run, the deaths aren't even fun, and the frogs are the least interesting animal involved even though they somehow got top billing.
Disappointing.

You can't bring back childhood - and sometimes you should not refresh glorified memories ;-)
2 stars bonus for being the first animal horror I have ever seen -

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Interesting example of the eco horror sub-genre. Sam Elliot and Ray Milland head the cast.

Really dumb. But somehow cool. A little. Inexplicably so. Frogs seem to be the masterminds of the reptile world. :D
And what the fuck was up with those random children, who just appeared at the end?

The poster is the only thing memorable about this early 70s animal attack movie. That and the strangely terrifying site of Sam Elliott without a moustache.
