Synopsis
All the other galaxies will be green with envy!

Repetitious, ceaseless and incessant gags that simply was not amusing after fifteen minutes. Separating the gender pointlessly and meaninglessly created absurd conflict over nothing. Having the entire plot revolve around the Asteroid and Violet Planet was good, but they mentioned the duo colossal environmental structure unfortunately 50-75 times and they showed what was on the planet twice. Really disappointing and weak, arguably the worst Futurama movie.

Film 51 of The December Project.
Running time: 89 minutes.
I've always enjoyed the Futurama films, this is the last one they made before the series came back. This one is just a whole lot of fun, Fry can read people's minds, Leela joins a feminist Green peace group, Bender just does a lot in this film, there's not really one thing he does he just does a lot and he is great as always, and the rest of the Planet Express crew also do a lot! This pokes jokes at a lot of things, feminists, green peace, the mafia, poker, cults, evolution. It does a lot, and it does it brilliantly in the time it has. The voice acting is great, the animation is great and it is hilarious as always. And maybe this is the unpopular opinion but I prefer Futurama to The Simpsons! Anyone else?

I kind of hate it when Futurama splits up its cast along gender lines; The women never come off well no matter how self-aware the writing tries to be.

No es la mejor de las 4 peliculas pero se deja ver. La trama no ha estado nada graciosa, salvo algunos puntos que siempre tiene.

This story starts on Mars, where the Wong's are building a new Mars Vegas. It quickly transforms into a fight to save the environment, against the "evil" greedy Wongs. Leela is part of the eco-feminists, which makes sense for her.
Fry on the other hand becomes a telepath and is involved in a big conspiracy involving the Dark Ones. We don't really know what's going on until the end, but I was curious. Especially about the idenity of the Dark One, although I should have guessed it.
The end ceremony is where everything is revealed, and I thought it worked. But I was curiously untouched by the supposedly final fate of the main relationships. Amy and Kif, but more importantly…

The worst of the bunch. Not so many laugh-out-loud moments, the plot seems weaker too. IT is a lot of fun and the characters are spot on, but it didn't seem like the Futurama I know. The ending was quite abrupt and imho the who feature didn't pay off.

The copious plot layers and reoccurring jokes make this my favorite Futurama movie. Though not my favorite Futurama episode. (Godfellas S4:EP8)

First half hour seems pretty disconnected from the last hour, but it's all fun and good.

Of the two Futurama "movies" I've seen, this is by far the inferior one. While Bender's Big Score has the scope, interest level, and ultimately comes across as a 30-minute episode which has been stretched to an unseemly length. A lot of the jokes are still funny, though, so it gets points for that.
