Synopsis
Galaxina is a lifelike, voluptuous android who is assigned to oversee the operations of an intergalactic Space Police cruiser captained by incompetent Cornelius Butt. When a mission requires the ship's crew to be placed in suspended animation for decades, Galaxina finds herself alone for many years, developing emotions and falling in love with the ship's pilot, Thor.

Watched this one mainly to confirm that, yes, this is the film that my mother caught me watching when I was 4 or 5 that resulted in the cancelling of our subscription to The Movie Channel. Not all that racy, certainly not very funny, plodding "Sex Farce/Sci-Fi Spoof" which takes about an hour to get to the main plot, and even when it gets there doesn't seem terribly interested in pursuing it. The doomed Stratton isn't treated any better by the film than her sex bot learning to be human is treated by the characters in the film. A few jokes hit, but most do not, and the films directionless plot made it a slog, not to mention the crowd, who really, really shouldn't be trusted with a sex-farce starring a woman who died tragically.

Jesus CHRIST Galaxina was bad. I'd been meaning to watch it for while now but haven't gotten around to it. This movie wanted very badly to be Barbarella...and it definitely wasn't even close.
I honestly didn't enjoy this very much at all... As a B-movie nut, I had to think about it because I wanted to put my finger on why I hated it so much - it wasn't particularly boring - that's generally the biggest reason why I wouldn't enjoy a bad movie. I think I've come to the conclusion that I simply don't enjoy most tongue in cheek b-movie comedies. Crap. Zitiert aus etlichen Filmen, verpasst es aber, daraus was eigenes zu entwickeln, und ist dabei einfach nur gääähnend langweilig. Mit mehr Spritzigkeit und etwas schnellerem Tempo hätt's vllt was werden können, aber so ist's einfach nix.
