I remember when the rumors started flying that this was going to be a "Dirty Harry" sequel. When I found out that wasn't the case, I was disappointed. Then I saw the movie, and I couldn't have been so wrong. This might be one of Eastwood's greatest roles, and connecting it with a popcorn hero like Callahan would've been a huge mistake.
Full of real characters and relationships that mean something. It's a journey of a man finding that human connection with the people that surround him, even though they may not be what he expects or what he expects of himself.

BRILLIANT FILM! Probably my favourite of the year so far. It made me laugh, it made me angry, it opened my eyes, and it made me cry SOOOOO much at the end! I was utterly raptured throughout.
