Dear cast of Grown Ups,
This was on TV tonight.
It is now broken.
I demand a new one.
You can pay it from the incomprehensible, ludicrous $162 million you made with this 'comedy' of yours.
Sincerely,
Me

I'm often wary when a film gets very low or very high scores as there can sometimes be an element of film-snobbery and follow-my-leader involved. I should have listened to you all about this one though.
This is a bad film, a nasty film which left me feeling slightly dirty for having watched it. It's a film without a single redeeming feature - it's the playground bully of the film world - unpleasant because it could be, and it wanted to.
That it took over US$200,000,000 at the box office during its theatrical runs doesn't say very much for those who paid to see it. -
I'm not quite sure what the point of this movie is, aside from watching Adam Sandler and pals go on a vacation and have some fun. There's no real story or plot of any kind, just a bunch of scenes with Sandler and his former SNL cohorts (with Kevin James filling in for the late Chris Farley) hanging out, listening to classic rock, and ripping on each other in a PG-13 way. At least Salma Hayek is on hand to look at.

There's nothing I hate more than when a group of characters fake laugh at the same time, and this movie has that in spades. And when I say fake, I mean you can count each individual "ha" as it happens.

Simplistic, sure, a tad predictable, naturally, but entertaining throughout. Typical Sandler movie jokes and morality, but delivered well by the game cast. They all clearly enjoyed each other's company making this movie and the ragging on each other was fun to watch.
The best Sandler movie I have seen in a long while. Recommend. -
This is the comedy equivalent of getting a colonoscopy from Freddy Krueger. Its a kaleidoscope of fucking awful.

Terrible, but not as terrible as I expected. Rob Schneider and David Spade were practically unwatchable but I got some minor chuckles out of the gang just hanging out in the water park and around the house.

This is the kind of movie where there can be a whole subplot just about breast milk.

God I hate Adam Sandler.
God I hate Dennis Dugan.
God I hate that this has a sequel. -
Guess what? I actually like a few Adam Sandler films.
What of it, mate? You better step off. I'll wreck ya.

To me this movie is very funny. Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schiender, and David Spade do a fantastic job

There's really not much to say here. I ended up watching the film with some family yesterday, and it's very... bland. Sure, there's some funny scenes, but there's a number of obviously improvised parts that felt like outtakes much more than usable dialogue. Also, it seemed extremely evident to me that Kevin James' part was written with Chris Farley in mind, even though he's been dead for well over a decade. I could just see him in that character, and even though he was never a great actor, he did well with the physical comedy. And Rob Schneider is awful. That is all.

I really hope Adam Sandler lost some serious money on this painful and lazy excuse of a film. Toooo contrived and not funny apart from the elctric chair gag.

I'm gonna make this short, simple, sweet, and self-explanatory.
FUCK YOU ADAM "SCAM"LER!!! Seriously ... FUCK YOU, YOU HACK!!!
