Into the cauldron, handsome!
The one where Daniel Radcliffe reveals he actually has damn fine comedic delivery.
I hate to start on a bum note, but I was so disappointed there was not more of a focus on Tom Riddle's backstory. I mean, I actually LIKE all the teenage love angst stuff and I still wish they'd cut some out to show more of Riddle's backstory!
The inferni scene is terrifying, there is a heavy feeling of doom over the film, especially when you know what is going to happen. Good performances from everyone, I especially like Dan's high as fuck scene. Even though the films get gloomy, you can still see how much fun the cast are having with it. That's what is missing from Twilight etc, by the end they all look like they want to kill themselves!
BONNIE WRIGHT IS SO TERRIBLE THOUGH. I CANNOT STAND IT.

David Yates has Knack of working wonders with grint, Watson and Radcliffe. Similarly he seems to have an understanding of the world of potter like none of his predecessors have. This film sees the characters become more real than we have seen them before in a plot that has no actual voldemort. A threat in the background. A mystery to solve and the story of a boy becoming the monster. Unleashing it upon the world. Whilst remaining light and seeing the characters deal with life and love a real sadness permeates nearly every scene.
What must be said is that Radcliffe did wrestle with drink problems throughout this movie and you can see this in his performance. There is a…

Half Blood Prince while not as great as movies 3-5 its a solid entry for the series with some dark moments making there way through the story until we get to the real meat of the drama towards the end. Top entertainment.

My favorite of the series outside of the combined product of the final two. It got the most right, but it also could've done better in certain areas (the interpretation of the ending served a direct inspiration for my own ideas regarding translating the Harry Potter books to screen--whether or not they will ever come to fruition is yet to be seen). The cave sequence felt extracted from my imagination like no other in the series, or anywhere, really. David Yates and Steve Kloves did tremendous work here, as did the actors.
The Harry Potter series has the best message of anything that's ever been released, and the films don't (and can't, to some degree) translate that message fully, at…

Não é o melhor dos filmes da Saga, mas tem ótimas cenas, E marca o começo da "trilogia" que mostra o fim da saga de Harry na sala de aula e o começo da cassada as Horcruxes.

Not quite Order of the Phoenix, but on par with Goblet of Fire. Fails to balance the silly scenes with the more serious ones, but the ending is strong and leaves a mark.

Very much in a serialized mindset by this movie, the stories no longer stand on their own, but they are satisfying both in the emotional and action side of things. Malfoy gets upgraded from caricature into an actual character that you feel for and has an interesting conflict that he has no way out of.

If you rank the Potter movies, this is middle of the road. Having said that, I'll take most Harry Potter movies over your average movie.

Ist wohl sowas wie der Empire strikes back Teil der Harry Potter Filme. Endlich ein richtig düsterer Film. Hat mir bisher mit Abstand am besten gefallen. Bin auf das Zweiteiler finale gespannt.

Harry Potter 6. You've come along way baby. The first two were simple popcorn movies. Nothing special but enjoyable all the same. When Cuaron swiped the director's chair from Columbus to helm the third film, the series seemed to truly hit its stride. Too bad they couldn't convince Cuaron to stay on though. The next two, I thought, were rather drab in comparison and I began to fear that I'd seen the best the Potter movies had to offer.
WIth this latest installment my fears have subsided. This was due in no small part to the performances of Jim Broadbent and Alan Rickman. While Rickman has been in the previous installments, this time he was blessed with more purpose than merely brooding in a corner and giving Harry the stink eye.

Probably embodies the worst of the David Yates era of Harry Potter. Bland, tasteless, unappealing; to say it's like drinking polyjuice potion would be a compliment.

Everything would have been fine if he had just banged the ebony chick. Fool.

The Half-Blood Prince walks a strange line in that it's a pretty terrible adaptation of the novel, but it works very well as a stand alone film. It's the funniest Potter in a while, and it's every bit as involving as its predecessors.
