Oh dear what a shambles.
Boring from start to finish.
I think Keanu forgot he had the finished the role of playing an alien in 'The earth stood still'. -
The blandest film possible without involving Reese Witherspoon. As offensive as vanilla ice cream. As charming as a kick to the knackers. Without the enjoyment of the former or threat of the latter. Seems to attempt non-existence. Succeeds. More on the site.

Who the fuck casts Keanu Reeves in the role of a guy with an natural acting talent?

Your plausibility levels are going to get a good workout here for there is little about Henry's Crime that makes much sense. The audience is asked to swallow some fairly unlikely plot lines in this romantic drama that centres around a bank heist. Keanu Reeves continues to decline further into turkeydom not least for wanting this nonsense to be made in the first place.

Pretty darn good film, it is always strange to see Kenau Reeves in movies.

Even though people like to hate on Keanu I like him and he has some good movies but this one was just ok, it's not bad. Keanu is a tollbooth worker who gets convicted of a bank robbery he didn't commit. Admittedly this is not Keanu's best but the movie is worth the watch if your running low on worth wile movies. It's got some laughs, some romance and crime. James Caan helps carry the movie as he is usually good even if the move he is in is not.

I give Keanu Reeves a pass more often than most. I love the Bill & Ted movies and Point Break at an almost unhealthy level, so I’m a believer in his talent even if most people these days just write him off as a lonely-sandwich-eating meme. Sure, he’s not the greatest actor, but he’s better than a lot of others out there who are currently seeing far more success. And when you put him up against two stellar actors like Vera Farmiga and James Caan, call me optimistic.
HENRY’S CRIME does not reward optimism.
It’s so boring. So boring. None of the actors seem to care and the story has no interesting hooks. The gist is that Henry went to prison…

How can I like and dislike Keanu Reeves and Vera Farmiga so much. Pretty pointless and emotionless movie, but it was decently well done I guess. James Caan is James Caan, so there is that.

This was passably enjoyable to catch on Netflix Streaming. I would have been happy if I had paid to see this however.

While the story grabs you and some of the performances are good, left feeling a little disappointed by this crime drama.

Henry's crime isn't robbing a bank, it's ...
wait for it...
existing.
1 star for Fisher Stevens acting like a tough guy.
