O lado bom de colocar essa lista aqui é poder classificar por rating, duração e data de lançamento.
The real crime is not committing to your dreams.
An aimless man is sent to prison for a crime he did not commit.
There is an intimacy to this movie that has a wonderfully enjoyable quality to it. It's all very light and low key with no showy acting or complex plotting, just simple, charming story telling. I'll also admit I can't help but like Keanu, his acting chops may be up for debate but the guy always seems genuine.
All round pleasant little film.
Oh dear what a shambles.
Boring from start to finish.
I think Keanu forgot he had the finished the role of playing an alien in 'The earth stood still'.
This movie, I'll have to say, is watchable but still... I think the one who commited the crime was the director Malcolm Venville
making a movie like this! And choosing Keanu Reeves with his two expressions and "care factor 0" for it as a star!?????
Stay away from this movie if you want to stay awake! James Caan as Max was on the roll but even he could not save this bad "apple"! I think I spent already too much time writting about it... and you reading about it!
2/10: A bank-heist-romance-love story, tribute-to-theater film, which is not my liking. However, I admit that the multi-layered style (story within a story) is clever and interesting.
The blandest film possible without involving Reese Witherspoon. As offensive as vanilla ice cream. As charming as a kick to the knackers. Without the enjoyment of the former or threat of the latter. Seems to attempt non-existence. Succeeds. More on the site.
Pretty darn good film, it is always strange to see Kenau Reeves in movies.
I imagine this was just a bit of fun for the actors involved. No high stakes. Not particularly funny. Never going to be a classic.
At the same time, completely inoffensive.
An offbeat, quirky romance caper flick with a surprisingly sweet turn by Keanu Reeves. There are few surprises offered, but the game cast and subtle direction make this a nice 90 minute diversion.
Reeves plays a nice but slow up top guy very well but Farmiga takes the honours. A silly but enjoyable plot.
this is the most boring fever dream ive ever had
Yikes. What a muddy, boring mess. Started strong, finished like a predictable diarrhea milkshake.
According to RottenTomatoes I watched this two years ago. Neither the title nor the cover are even the least bit familiar to me, so it must have been a great film!
Copying my rating from RT.
Released from prison for a crime he didn't commit, an ex-con targets the same bank he was sent away for robbing.
Light-hearted crime yarn, slightly entertaining, but not really inspired.
Keanu Reeves is always interesting to watch for me and he's good in Henry's Crime. The film is maybe a bit too clever with an interconnected plot that blends a heist, an Ibsen play, and a romantic comedy together. With good supporting performances by James Caan and Vera Farmiga, the whole thing is good and never quite catches on fire, but is still enjoyable if a bit slow.
