Absolutely awful Gremlins rip-off film where a bunch of aliens (Hobgoblins) try to kill off people whilst they are in the middle of their fantasies. Some rubbish like that. Horrendous.

Showed my kids the MST-3K version of this film. It's a uber-low-rent rip-off of "Gremlins" (or more accurately, a low-rent rip-off of "Gremlins" rip-offs like "Ghoulies"). Nonsensical story with inconsistent and moronic characters, this would be a chore to watch without Mike and the Bots riffing along.

So hilariously bad, even an MST3King barely redeems it.

Gremlins minus the talent, charm, and sobriety.

At one point during the MST3K episode of this movie, Tom Servo asks: "Can you catch a venereal disease from a movie?" I was thinking the exact same thing after watching this film. It's a stupid movie with a dumb plot, idiotic characters, a misogynistic subtext and possibly the worst fight scene of all time. Hobgoblins. May cause blindness and death.

An ultra-cheap knock off of Gremlins and Ghoulies, this puppet-filled horror comedy has almost nothing going for it--it’s ineptly made and mind-numbingly stupid. To get around showing his creatures too much, the director has them able to tap into people’s fantasies and turn them into deadly killers—or something. It doesn’t make much sense.
