A true guilty pleasure, pure Disney - awesome retelling of the old Disney show - Incredible Journey. Severe anthropomorphizing going on here giving animal voices but it works and I believe anyone who loves animals does the same thing in their head anyways. Love this movie. I challenge any animal lover not to choke up in the last five minutes of this film.

Back in my day, we didn't have CG talking animal mouths and that's the way we liked it. Michael J. Fox is awesome in this as well.

This evening I sat down to watch The Incredible Journey with three kids, five years old and under. The two year old monkeyed around for most of it. The three year old monkeyed then settled in. The five year old watched earnestly. By the end they were all laughing and squealing excitedly at the family reunion.
There were also tears once the credits rolled. The two year old was over tired, it was a bit late. The five year old was feeling the emotional roller coaster of the film. I will update this review if we now get a disrupted night, but ahead of that possibility I’d say the film went exactly as planned.
I am pretty sure I’ve seen…

It's movies like these that birthed the furry fandom. Still, Homeward Bound is alright. Who doesn't love talking anaminals?

I watched this movie and the sequel all the time when i was a kid. Apparently this is a remake of a 60's Disney film so I need to check that one out. Happy to say this held up. It's a nice family film about 3 pets, mistakenly thinking that their owners forgot about them at a ranch, going across mountains and through a national forest. They run into many dangers including a bear, a rapid river/waterfall, a porcupine and a Mountain Lion. I liked all the little moments about what dogs think and what not. Yes the dogs and cat talk, but considering this is a family movie I can go with it. They must have had a hell…

Homeward Bound is one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. I had the VHS of it and watched it so many times that I ended up waring it out. After that I hadn't seen it again for years until only recently. At first I didn't know if I would watch it again thinking that it might be one of those movies that just doesn't hold up when your an adult the same way it did when it was a kid. Thankfully this is a case where the movie did hold up.
Sure I don't think I enjoyed it as much this time around as I did when I was a kid but I think that can…
