Although I picked a lot of interesting stuff up from this I did find a little... boring. Sluggish. What it had to say about marriage was pretty mean-spirited at worst, definitely skeptical - despite the ending. That was pretty cool, I appreciate a film like this was made in the 50's & isn't just another alien invasion movie that can boringly be compared to The Cold War.

1950s studio sci-fi film draws in interest with a ripped-from-the-headlines title, but the story itself isn’t much, mostly just a thinly-veiled take off on It Came From Outer Space, with aliens inhabiting the bodies of some soon-to-be grooms in order to propagate their species. Interesting that alien sex is implied all over the place but still obscured so as not to upset censors. Despite all that, it’s actually pulled off quite well, with good effects and nice cinematography
