Middle-of-the-road "Nordic noir". It starts with an engaging central premise - a Danish woman wakes up stranded in a small French village with a loaded gun, a sackful of Euros and no memory of who she is and how she got there - but with each piece of information fed to us, the mystery somehow becomes less interesting. Things do pick up a bit a little over half-way in where an extended flashback sequence carries us almost all the way to the finish line, but it ultimately turns out to be a fairly conventional if competently told amnesia story.

This is a decent thriller with a great setup. To have a character have amnesia may seem to some to be a cliche but I think it works strongly here. I really was intrigued with what was happening and why.
But once I got an inkling, it wasn't hidden in any way and that slowed the pace of the film for me. I wanted it to move on faster than it was. But it all made sense (except for the perfect banknotes) and worked.
A solid film and if you don't mind one that has high tension scenes but lots of slow unravelling portions then you will enjoy the mystery.

Just a little convoluted. Makes TELL NO ONE look like a "See Spot Run" adaptation by comparison.
The structure is the biggest issue followed by some real pacing problems, an unlikeable protagonist and fairly unsatisfying wrap-up. There is one cool scene at the end though, so there's that.

Its okay in parts with a pretty intriguing first half, but unfortunatly it loses much of that momentum.

Stunning Swedish actress Tuva Novotny wakes up beside a river in France with a gun and a bag full of cash but no recollection of who she is or how she got there.

Solid Danish crime thriller. Part psychodrama, part glossy Euro thriller with a bloody, frantic denouement
