Imagine Me & You
There goes the bride.
During her wedding ceremony, Rachel notices Luce in the audience and feels instantly drawn to her. The two women become close friends, and when Rachel learns that Luce is a lesbian, she realizes that despite her happy marriage to Heck, she is falling for Luce. As she questions her sexual orientation, Rachel must decide between her stable relationship with Heck and her exhilarating new romance with Luce.
Rachel: What does the lily mean?
Luce: The lily means...
Luce: The lily means, "I dare you to love me".
I am somewhat a different audience when it comes to a love story. I had watched this movie a few years back and remembered it as a sweet movie.
Well I haven't changed my opinion about it. It is a sweet movie.
This movie is based on the concept of 'Love at First Sight'...
Luce: I think you know immediately. As soon as your eyes... Then everything that happens from then on just proves that you have been right in that first moment. When you suddenly realize that you were incomplete and now you are whole...
Rachel is getting…
A predictable, but charming, romantic comedy with funny supporting characters - especially Anthony Head and Darren Boyd.
It's nothing out of the ordinary, but still a fun watch.
The chemistry between Piper Perabo and Lena Heady is very good.
the supermarket scene is the best scene in cinematic history
Man , this chick . Lena Headey .
I have a crush on her ever since I watched those first episodes of "Game of thrones" .
She kills her Cercie Lannister there and based on her interviews she's a cool woman to hang out with ... but wow I found her oddly attractive . Is it her cool bitchy sarcasms or that special smirk ? She got that "thing" going on that turns me on whenever I see her . What a babe .
She did this " Imagine Me & You " before she becomes bigger . She's the only reason I sat through this little LGBT chick flick .
She was so pleasant for me that I didn't really…
Meaningful in a random way movie, tells us that we can fall in love in 3 seconds, if only we meet that right person, we'd go gay for them:')
god herself directly touched this
6/10 Hec deserved like 99% less screentime and Coop deserves a painful death but whatever
Lena Headey could kill me and I'd say thank you. #LetTheGaysRise.
That's it, that's the review.
Regardless of sexual orientation, cheating is wrong. I guess this was where Imagine Me & You (2005) failed.
The film has its sappy and over-executed moments which could be cringe-worthy. Yet, there was something powerful with the film which featured lesbians under the romcom genre -- dancing, kissing, loving, sputtering nonsense, witty comebacks and a process of self-discovery; that, we do not get often. I believe this was where the magic of this film began.
more romcoms like this please
Rewatched this with my parents today. Just as nice and funny as the first time I watched it!
Literally the exact same mass-produced romcom that comes out every six months except with lesbians so it's 300x better now. Three stars because I don't hate fluff and happiness, but not more than 3 stars because it had it's glaring problem-isms.
i genuinely adore this movie. the kind of rom-com we deserve.
A go to comfort movie
Lena Heady and Piper Perabo make the adorablest couple.
Sweet love story with some lightly f'd up aspects.
lena headey is the cutest thing in this. i may or may not have cried ? anyway, the man from downton abbey was awfully sweet about his wife being a secret lesbian. ultimately, I thought this movie was precious. v precious.
Movies about/starring women. I originally started this list just as a reference for myself, but hopefully others will find it…
This list is films with LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer and intersex) content that I watched or will watch
