Maybe this was a hot button topic back in 1982? I guess it's still relevant to some degree. But I don't know to what degree this film is truly effective in communicating its message. It might work for some people.
But the real treat comes from watching Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez play father and son… And when sixteen-year-old angry young man Estevez rear ends a police car, Sheen decides a night in jail might actually do him some good.
