Ziemlich harter Tobak aus dem Land der Liebe. Musikantenstadl und Rosamunde Pilcher Fans nehmen besser abstand von diesem Werk, den "Inside" ist wirklich nur für den (Hardcore) Horrorfan geeignet. Derbe effekte, spannend bis zum ende und einfach nur bitterböse.
Die schauspielerischen leistungen, allem voran die von Beatrice Dalle haben mich einfach umgehauen, Sie gibt Ihrer Rolle einen gewissen dämonischen touch. Auch Alysson Paradies spielt Ihre Rolle grandios.
Die CGI Effecte verfehlen Ihre wirkung nicht und sind allesamt sehr gelungen.
Der Film ist atmosphärisch dicht und die bedrohung ist allgegenwärtig.Absolut empfehlenswerter Horror "Made in France". Am besten zusammen genissen mit "Frontiers" oder "High Tension".

This film is one of the only horror films I have ever watched that was genuinely terrifying, it wasn't quiet and then boo(there were a few, but they felt more out of place than anything), it was extremely intense and gory. probably my favorite horror movie that delivers scares throughout.

My relationship with what I suppose we could call the 'new wave' of French horror that emerged during the mid to late 00s has been a rather rocky one. While I think Martyrs is a generally well made film I fail to see why it garnered and still continues to garner such praise. For me it was an incredibly mediocre film. DARK, DISTURBING, SICK OR JUST PLAIN WEIRD: Review No. 28
Dark, Disturbing and Sick? Most definitely! A slow starter but once it gets going, BLAM! A twisted storyline with some great acting. Despair follows despair, how much damage can one person do with a pair of scissors?! A lot apparently. I didn't see the twist coming which is always good, the only down point i can think of is i would have preferred a less 'open' ending. Very dark yet very watchable, a must for horror fans.

I've been watching a lot of French horror lately, and this is definitely one of the better ones. Not for the faint of heart, it is brutal, bloody and intense. Not on the same level that Martyrs was, but incredibly gory all the same.
