This thriller follows an underground ring of gamblers who are specially gifted in the realm of good luck. The premise sounds intriguing at first, but it soon reveals itself to have a very limiting duality: either people get lucky, or they don't. It also doesn't help that the film only makes a few weak efforts to make the viewer care about the characters. A few moments of suspense and creativity prevent the movie from becoming dull.

Interesting concept, really like the idea that luck is a valued asset and the games that are played to obtain it. great direction too, I really enjoyed this.

Do you remember the video for the new version of the Prodigy - Voodoo People? The idea of the video is completely borrowed from "Intacto".

The most un-self conscious Intacto gets is when, as it begins to divulge its own unique rules, it squarely, brilliantly, eschews batting it's eye (In other words, the exposition is all story - but its up to you to spot just how in the hell any of it could possibly (under any circumstances whatsoever) make logical sense). I feel dirty writing anything that might betray its particulars; Relishing in this exotic world's masterful weave is pretty much all the fun - and my gosh, what fun it is (what's especially refreshing is that this world seems ripe for a supremely dumb metaphor that it never offends us by stating). Yeah, the not-so-great idea to include the cop subplot never really…

Some people are born lucky. Really lucky, with the ability to draw good fortune from others into themselves. Instead of going to Vegas and becoming billionaires they decide to pit their 'luck' against each other in contests, wagering the 'luck' they've taken from other people in order to become, well, luckier. And towering above them, at the head of the food chain, is the mysterious Jew (a Holocaust survivor), who has the unique ability to take away anyone's power and is apparently the luckiest of them all, despite seemingly living in the middle of nowhere in a pretty crappy casino.
The film itself is a pretty slick and breezy thriller. Despite the nonsense proposition it does lead to some pretty…

Subjected to inexplicable tragedies, we find solace in control. So what if we could control luck? Good question. Attempting to answer it, not as fortunate. C

A man uncovers a secret gambling ring where players gamble their luck . A very creative and enjoyable urban fantasy film.

Interesting premise and it's definitely well-made. It's a little too slow and things take a little too long to get going but the ambition is there.
