Juice is necessary expression!
Juice is the way to survive with your own strenghts!
Juice shows elementary parts of the Hip Hop history, sick violence in Harlem, NYC, self destruction of four friends, mental failure of mind & soul!
But Jermaine Hopkins (the chunky Steel) is a poor actor.. Mercifully Omar Epps gives a nice coming-out party! -
The story line of this film was class but it's a shame the film didn't feel the same way for me.
The acting was tops with Omar Epps and the late Tupac (rip).
It's a shame as Tupac is really good in this and looked to star in more films. -

Scott has been trying to get me to watch this for years. Turns out, I like it.

I always figured this as Boyz N' Tha Hood without the message. Its actually a very solid street movie from Ernest Dickerson, who'd go on to be a star TV director (The Wire, The Walking Dead, Dexter). He's just cutting his teeth with this one and it doesn't have the personal feel of Boyz N' Tha Hood but Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps are both really good and its an effective film. Not groundbreaking or anything but the 90 minutes flies by.
