Kevin and Perry Go Large
Synopsis
All they want to do is... Do it!!!
When stubborn, spotty Kevin and his equally hopeless best friend Perry go on holiday to the party island Ibiza, they see it as their big chance to become superstar club DJs and, more importantly, to lose their virginities. But they aren't prepared for the interference of top DJ Eyeball Paul, not to mention the embarrassment factor of Kevin's long-suffering parents.

This is a stupid movie but I still had some laughs.

I'm not sure if the makers of The Inbetweeners Movie watched this or not before they made a film with the same basic plot.

I must have been remembering this film through rose-tinted glasses, as boy has it not aged well.
Stuff I found hilarious when I was 16 just made me sad, which is a shame, because I like a lot of the people involved (speaking of, is Laura Fraser still acting?)
Anyway, as is most usually the case, Kathy Burke steals every scene she's in. Which is to say, most of the film. -
Priapic teenagers try to get an obnoxious DJ to listen to their mixing skills. Awkward boners ensue. British films based on popular comedies of the day (and this is really stretching the definition, as the film came out around ten years after the characters debut) damaged the homegrown film industry in the 70's and this looked to do the same. Stick to the far superior Inbetweeners Movie.

Still highly amusing over a decade later and it takes on an even funnier dimension when you're a parent. Enfield is perfect as whiny teenager Kevin but Kathy Burke steals it as Perry.

One of those stupid unnecessary films based on a sketch. Seriously.
