For some reason, I expected my first dose of Hart's comedy not to be a particularly enjoyable experience but this was a lot funnier than I expected it to be.
I have no idea why I didn't expect to like it as I knew nothing about the guy beforehand - I'm just used to seeing so much shitty stand-up comedy these days that it's probably just a natural state of mind to be in. This was pretty good, however. Nothing as politically challenging as you might find from Chris Rock or, to a lesser extent, Dave Chappelle, but nice and gentle fare that focuses mostly on his family.
He overdoes the impressions of people screaming but there were some very funny routines here and even the impression of Shaquille O'Neal falling over made me laugh - even though I hate basketball and have no idea how Shaq falls over.

If this doesn't make you laugh, you no longer have a pulse!

I laughed. I cried. And I'ma tell you why. Cuz I was laughing so much.

Some good laughs here and there, but more downtime than the truly good comedy concert films. I think Louis CK pretty much can't be beat right now.
