Reviews of Kevin Smith: Burn in Hell 2012

There's only a few questions from the audience, but the answers and stories are amusing and often hilarious. Kevin Smith always shines in a Q&A setting.
-
Kevin Smith as a raconteur is amusing enough I suppose, and not without charm, but the insane levels of devotion and hero worship he seems to inspire is baffling. (I actually quite like Red State, for the record.)
-
I'm still amazed he manages to find stuff to talk about. I think you could easily perform identity theft with the details he gives out.
-
Smith's Q&A sessions still generate some great stories and laughs. I believe this is the fifth and I have liked them all.
-
bleee, the critics don't like my movie so i will fucking talk shit about them and about anyone who does not agree with me OR how to become a total pot headed loser from a well respected genius very fast... it is sad what is kevin smith now...
-
So Kevin Smith has a million and one of these Q&A films and I had seen them all but this one, to be honest each one diminished from the last, the questions were samey which led to answers you had heard before and they usually go on for 3 hours!
However, this one was different, it was recorded after a screening of Red State and so the conversation pretty much stayed on topic, that topic being the film at hand.…

Inspiring & Hilarious.

i can always listen to Kevin Smith babble about anything. This one was filled in Austin at the Paramount, super amazing. I've sat in those seats many times and we actually knew a few people.

This was filmed at the Paramount and I recognized a few faces in the crowd. Stories were pleasant enough, though it seemed like there were a few he was going to tell regardless of what the question was. I don't know what to make of his softening of language about critics in this, seems like a little bit of backpedaling or spinning on his part. Entertaining, but not really memorable.

A lot of the same stories from his book, but his stories are always entertaining no matter how many times you hear them.

I could listen to Kevin Smith talk forever, about anything. Such an interesting mind.
