Reviews of Killers from Space 1954

The only reason to see this film is for the hilarious looking antagonists. They all have googly eyeballs that make one think only of The Muppets. Scary! Even then it's still a profound waste of time. In true bad movie fashion, nothing at all happens throughout. There were villains but I still don't recall ever seeing any actual killers from space, but then again my mind's memory has been slowly erasing away this film since I watched it. By the end of the day, hopefully all I'll remember are those ridiculous eyeballs.

Peter Graves is an atomic scientist who mysteriously survives a plane crash with only a mysterious scar over his heart. He starts acting strangely, ultimately stealing atomic secrets for his ping-pong ball-eyed alien masters. Cheap and stultifying, the director - Billy Wilder's older brother - made several sci-fi programmers, all pretty dull.

Peter Graves is brought back to life by ping pong ball-eyed aliens who force him to do his bidding via awful back projected monsters. It’s palpably cheap, amateurishly filmed, and never any fun.
