I'm not sure who 'We' are, but 'We' definitely know a much different Life, because the Life As 'We' Knows It doesn't match up with the Life as I Know It even a little bit. Like, not at all.
The Life As I Know It found it's baby in a shopping mall public restroom toilet and ended up selling it for parts in Syria. Life made a bundle but blew it all on blow and transsexual hookers in Thailand. Meh. No big deal. That's just how Life is.

Tries to break the formula, mainly by complicate things and making a twist on classical rom com scenes but the problem is that it forgets to invest in the characters and most of the scenes are lifeless.

I'm gonna say making a romantic comedy based on a 1 year old becoming an orphan might not be the best concept. Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel are both likeable but the movie is predictable with a few cringe-worthy moments. However, the cakes featured are pretty amazing and I'd take one of those please.

A simple plot really well expanded on. There is nothing fundamentally new about this romantic comedy, but it is done with a sweet and gentle feel that is very endearing. They also did a great job getting the baby to pull those faces.
Thumbs up.

What is the appeal to movies like this? Honestly.
I'm not trying to be condescending to people who like these movies but these are so goddamn predictable and generic.
I've seen this before, but I watched about an hour or so of it this morning. I don't even know why I do the things I do. -
It's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It has some cute moments, some funny ones and some sad ones, although in the end they don't add up to much. Katherine Heigl's choice of roles is truly questionable, but this is not the worst of them. The script is disappointing in its predictability, but some colourful supporting characters (especially Melissa McCarthy's neighbour) make it all a bit more fun.

Stereotypioita täynnä olevaa romanttista draamaa tuttuine kaavamaisuuksineen. Silti yllättävän hyvä ko. genreläiseksi.

Sweet and heartbreaking at the same time.
