Synopsis
A tough slum girl faces a crisis of the heart when the boy she loves is accused of shooting her cop father. Her brother stalks the accused slayer and finally shoots him down in the street. Mary rushes to the hospital and offers her blood for a life-saving transfusion, even though she thinks she'll die.

Apparently Mary Pickford was about 30 years old when they made this film. Thirty two years old, in fact. Is it just me that finds it a bit odd that somebody who's 32 can convincingly pull off playing a 12 year old girl?
I guess it's hard to criticise a film that, at the time, was quite successful and became one of the silent film era's most well known stars, most well known film. But it didn't really do anything for me.
I barely even paid attention to half of what was going on, such was the lack of interest I had in it. It wasn't really very funny, nor was it particularly moving. Not sure I could really fault…
