Great collection for when you have about 10 hours to waste. had only seen the first film before - good fun!

A half-star off only because I think it would have made a better miniseries. That said, I adored these movies, mostly because they look so damn good. Weta Workshop have revitalised and set the new benchmark in design for film. Some great acting from Viggo Mortensen, Elijah Wood and Ian McKellan. Minas Tirith is a thing of beauty.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Epic.
