Synopsis
The Frog brothers are back for blood
Vampire hunter Edgar Frog is destitute and nearly friendless, when the beautiful vampire-romance novelist Gwen Lieber offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and save her brother from an army of newborn vampires who use a new drug called the Thirst, which is a mixture of Ecstasy and vampire blood. Realising he can't do this alone, Edgar turns to his brother, Alan Frog, to help him save Gwen's brother.

This is the LOST BOYS sequel we wanted before, instead of the crap-fest that was "The Lost Tribe". Sure, it's cheesy, cheap and corny.. but for fans of the original there is fun to be had in this Frog Brothers team up. A fun twist at the end as well. Good straight to DVD stuff here that, with no expectations, can give you a fun time in the land of exploding vampires. Corey Feldman's grunts are the movies best bit.

This is terrible. Corey Feldman isn't even convincing as a human being let alone a character in a movie! Further proof that some movies should be left alone. I'll never watch another one of this direct to video features.

THE LOST BOYS is still a great vampire film, even more than 25 years after it's release. LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE, a low budget 2008 sequel was so bad that i couldn't bring myself to sit through it.
I decided to give LOST BOYS: THE THIRST a try after all and while it isn't remotely as good as the first one, it is a lot better than the second.
Actually it's so bad that it's good again and it's obvious that Corey Feldman had a lot of fun with it.
Of course story is very bad and the characters weak, but it's enjoyable if you're in the right mood.
Soundtrack is terrible though. -
An alright movie, but the original two are much better. Sadly Twilight's coming into this third installment a little bit.... But still worth the watch!

They really made this one the first sequel should have been. It shows what happened to Newlander, and he's in this quite a lot and it's great to see the brothers back together. The flashbacks of part 1 they use to bring back Haim into the mix are very good and heartfelt. And the ending sets up a new film to go in a total different direction. And Feldman doesn't seem so annoying anymore.

This is surprisingly fun! Though, after that second one, not smashing my head into a mirror while watching this would be a surprise. Corey Feldman (who I love) seems like he can't decide to play this straight or campy, which may get on some nerves, but that's how he played the role in the original, so what are ya gonna do? Cool twists, fun characters, cool effects and nice call backs to the original make this worth watching.

Awful.
The scriptwriting was appauling, the story was utterly ridiculous, it didn't work on any level.
Corey Feldman was practically at his worst in this. It's clear that he follows the trend of 'child stars' thinking way too highly of themselves due to early success. He's an appauling actor, and his stupid, gruff voice is cringe worthy. He's supposedly a professional vampire killer in this, and yet he seems about as competent as a wet fart on a hot summers day. He wasn't the only terrible actor in this, as practically the entire cast were diabolical. The voice manipulation was laughable, and the fight scenes looked like they'd been choreographed by a 12 year old.
There was no concept here… -
