Light and fluffy, just what I needed at the time! Second rubbish film lately, ( with The Decoy Bride) where the weak and predictable story suddenly moves to Scotland, and becomes a gorgeous travelogue with all our old mates from TV's "Hamish Macbeth" - lovely!
-
Funny enough, but a typical rom-com.

I literally predicted the ending within the first 10 minutes.
Lame, cliche movie.

Michelle Monaghan is great as usual but otherwise this is a terrible, terrible romantic comedy where pretty much nothing happens. I did enjoy the Scottish locations though.

Learned: McDreamy in a mini kilt and tenuous dog wisdom does not make a good film. Awful Scottish stereotypes are ok as long as the film is worse elsewhere. Treat a man like crap, eat his cake and threaten to marry a deer killer and he will love you forever.

A nice romantic comedy, nothing spectacular, nothing obnoxious. Right twists at right places, no surprises, but hey, that's the genre. I like Michelle Monaghan a lot, but this is not necessarily her best film. A bit too much fun was had on the expense of the Scots for my taste, but not more than I can live with.

I just can't describe how much I love this film. I've watched it a thousand times and it's still funny.
Patrick Dempsey is awesome! -
Well. It goes. Mostly because of Dempsey and McKidd (pre-Grey's times! :))
