Meet the Fockers
Synopsis
Misery loves family.
In this sequel to the hit comedy Meet the Parents, hard-to-crack ex-CIA man Jack Byrnes and his wife, Dina, head for the warmer climes of Florida to meet son-in-law-to-be Greg Focker's mom and dad, Bernie and Roz. Unlike their happily matched offspring, the future in-laws find themselves in a situation of opposites that definitely do not attract.

Fun comedy with great performance by Dustin Hoffman, as one of the coolest dads ever and two adorable house pets which never fails in a comedy. Stiler was only all right and De Niro does things here that made me think "Dude, come on, you were in Raging Bull!" but overall it's an entertaining flick.

Similar to Meet the Parents, this is no masterpiece, but they managed to deliver a good sequel where they introduce probably the funniest characters in the entire franchise. Both Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman kill it here. From here, it all goes down hill...

Much less entertaining than those screaming goat videos.

GOOD FAMILY FUN

It plays by all the standard rules of sub-raunchy family comedies and is, most assuredly, a cash grab to follow the original. But hey, everyone involved seems to be having lots of fun, so the movie is fun for the audience in return.

Although the humor can be very crude and situations fairly familiar, Meet the Fockers is still a pretty funny comedy that relies on the awkward moments family life is all about.

Bom.

Fair less cringy than it's preprocessor - until the truth serum, that is.
A far better film in general than meet the parents, but I can't believe they made a third one [and chances are I'm going to end up watching it too!]

Much less entertaining than those screaming goat videos.
