It's a barrel of laughs.

Think of the most disturbing film you've seen.
That is a walk in the park compared to this.
I like and loathe this film at the same time. It is skillfully made and challenges every sensitivities its audience might have. The final scene had me staring at the screen in mesmerized horror for its entire length, one of the most impressive displays of 'less is more' I've seen recently.
Only watch this if you, like me, don't mind a challenge.

Think of the most awful film you've seen.
Think of the most mind-bendingly terrible piece of garbage conceivable. Baby Geniuses 2. Troll 2.

This is acted even worse. It's edited less competently and shot like a moron. Anyone who thinks this movie is anything but an exercise in complete... bad... is a dumbass that fell for the "OH MY GOD, SRS SUBJECT MATTERS GUYS IM SO AWARE!" bullshit they tried to use to sell it. It's not disturbing at all. If you're disturbed by this, you are a disturbed person. If it challenges you, you are mentally challenged. If you think this "raises awareness" or "touches on issues" or is…

Pretty low production values, but god damn, was that disturbing.
'Not for the faint of heart' would be a gross understatement.

Megan is a popular girl who meets a guy online and then goes missing.
The acting is terrible, the characters stupid and the news are a joke. But the final scenes are a bit disturbing, the only redeeming thing about this movie to be honest.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Definitely disturbing and scary but it falls into some of the more common annoying "found footage" tropes. There are just far too many times where I was thinking, "why exactly are they filming this?" A lot of the decisions
I did like the satirical way in which the media was treated. Megan gets an entire show dedicated to her when she disappears. Some random boy named Turcell just gets 2 sentences about his disappearance.

Yikes. The acting was almost unbearable, but man, was the ending brutal.

DARK, DISTURBING, SICK OR JUST PLAIN WEIRD: Review No.25
Megan is Missing........ but who gives a shit.
Unlikable characters made worse by horrific, over jestured, ill timed performances. The concept was a good one, unfortunately the execution was so so bad. The rape scene was probably the only well played part in the whole movie, that made me feel a little ill. The editing was terrible, the fake news broadcasting was abysmal and the whole underage kids being bad ass didnt rub with me at all.
Put in the hands of a capable director with some vision and a cast who can act, this could have been good. Instead it was pretty feeble.

Horrible acting.
*Horrible*. -
Så länge man inte tänder på småbrudar som blir kidnappade och torterade så tror jag inte man får ut så mycket av den här filmen.

An important and very disturbing film which reiterates the fact that the world we live in, is not safe and is not to be trusted.
