"Whoo! Flushed! Yeah, man, back when you was an agent, you used to love gettin' flushed. Yeah, every Saturday night, you'd be like "flush me, J! Flush me!" and I'd be like "Naw... "
Three stars alone for that line.

What a load of rubbish. (I know I’m hardly up to date in the movie world when it comes to reviews, but this being so popular I guess I’m really behind the times!)
Talk about a really cheaply put together sequel – no original jokes, no storyline developed, just lame joke after lame joke to make up for the gaping hole where the plot should have been.
The first film was a childhood favourite and I watched it again a few weeks ago after going through a bit of a nostalgic moment. It’s still fun even now – I think part of it has been slightly lost along with my long-ago childhood, but it is still a good, solid fun…

good follow up.

Nowhere near as great as the original movie but Men in Black 2 is still a fun flick, Jones & Smith are still a fine act that more than make up for a thin plot & weak villian.
-
Lazy, Not funny, rushed, terrible editing, Crap villain, annoying unfunny side characters who get too much time, rubbish lead song..... i could go on really, just a great shame.
Although in this film's credit it does make Johnny Knoxville disappear into thin air

Revisiting Men in Black II, however, is like accidentally digging through a sewage pipe in your garden and the surge of effluence unearths the bones of a beloved pet. You can see hints of something you used to cherish but it’s drowning in a flood of awful, awful things.

Ugh.
This is a pretty horrible movie.
Seriously, it took everything that was entertaining about the original movie and made it lame and stupid. The jokes were flat, the characterization was weird and inconsistent (not just from the last movie to this one - it was inconsistent *within the movie*), and the special effects were really, really bad, while the visuals on the last rewatch of the original flick held up surprisingly well. On the positive side, THANK GOD he wasn't partnered with that dog the whole movie...
*This*, people, *this* is why sequels to clearly standalone movies are a horrible idea.
Men in Black II < Minority Report
Men in Black II < Miss Rose White
Men in Black II < 101… -

Old busted hotness.

Eh. I liked it for what it was.
Nothing compared to 1 or 3 though. -
I honestly watched this before having watched the first two, so really I was a bit confused. It was cute enough though and fits the genre for which it was made. Not necessarily my cup of tea for movies, but it was alright.

Not as good as the first, but still fun. Lara Flynn Boyle was *drooool*

The premise of this film started out pretty good, introducing interesting new characters... but it soon became really boring really quickly.
its worth mentioning the Ballchinian.
The man with Balls on his Chin. (google it)

Enjoyable, if instantly forgettable sequel.

Hugely disappointing sequel. It just felt like no one wanted to be there.
