'It's time to pay...THE PIPER!'
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie was an intentionally bizarre gift from one of my friends to my other friend, & strangely enough we watched the film almost immediately.
How is this film? Well...it's something spectacular, from Paul Freeman's villain Ivan Ooze to the Val Halen song that plays in the finale, everything about Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie is executed with style, tremendous charm & plenty of backflips.
Lest we forget the scene in which Ivan Ooze makes a man dance;
'DANCE FOR ME! DANCE!'

It's over. I'm gonna pack my bags and leave because my work is done. All of my 16 year old life I've been looking for the Holy Grail of bad movies. And in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, I think I might have finally found it. Fuck off, Showdown In Little Tokyo, go to hell, Highlander II, because you don't have what this has. What does have exactly, you may be asking. Well, the answer is entertainment value at an epic level. And a lot of it.
I was never a Power Rangers kid. They never were my world and I only watched this film for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere was palpable, a bunch of teenagers on…

This may have been the most nostalgic movie experience I've had to date, just wow. This was that movie I re-watched time and time again as a kid. I absolutely adored this movie, mainly because:
1. It's the motherflippin' Power Rangers
2. One of the rangers name is Adam
3. It was shot in Australia, mainly in Sydney where I grew up.But watching it again, a whole fifteen years later, even more reasons why I cherished it so have become apparent.
- It's non-stop action. It opens to the rangers sky-diving only to rollerblade away seconds after landing. The pacing is relentless, how could a rowdy 5 year old resist.
- Fight scenes. The Matrix-esque flips and spins to…

"You ooze you lose"
I can't believe something that I watched when I was a young can actually be awesome when I'm 18.
Dude, this is awesome but really really horrible and corny at the same time.
And there are so many sexual innuendos in this film as well...
Ooze?
yeah, of course, you mean the ooze that comes out of Zordon...It's sick to know Adults wrote this movie.

My sister and I have been reliving our childhood as of late, and Power Rangers was an integral part of our childhood growing up. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie was something we actually had on VHS and I'd have to say I've seen it more than a dozen times--to the point of messing up the tape.
The last time I had seen Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, was about eight years ago. Despite fearing that I would ruin good memories, I gave it a rewatch anyway. I have to say it wasn't as badass as I had remembered it being, but I found myself so caught up in the nostalgia of it all, that I was quoting lines…

For clarification on what some may believe to be a very high star rating, Power Rangers were my ENTIRE world when I was 8 years old. Yes it was cheesy and badly written, yes the sets were made of cardboard and yes I don't know a single person that ever acted in it that went on to do anything else of any significance ever again. BUT, when you're 8 and lived for Saturday morning Power Rangers episodes, THIS movie was the only thing I talked about for months, and it still holds a nostalgic place in my heart. Admittedly, that place is full of bad writing and terrible CGI, but it's there nonetheless.
Thinking about it, this also planted the seeds for me being a writer, as even when I was 8 I thought "I could come up with something like this..."

There's a few guilty pleasures I had back in the 90's. There were Hootie & the Blowfish, Ladybugs, Boy Meets World and of course Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. Yes, this film was way better back then, but it still holds that special nostalgic feeling. The plot and dialogue are rather cheesy, but the film is sure to please fans of the original TV show. I just wish they would have stuck to "a guy in a suit" rather than including some of the worst CGI ever when it was Morphin' time.

The first movie a ever saw in the cinema, a trip down memory lane for this was.

Surprisingly solid. Ivan Ooze is pretty funny.

Ah memories...
If you're looking for stellar acting or a plot... stay away.
If you're looking to laugh and watch something totally ridiculous... you have a winner.

So 90s it hurts.
