He's Hitler with a tail. He's "The Omen" with whiskers. Even Nostradamus didn't see him coming!
It's a real shame, because when I was young I really enjoyed this. I used to have it recorded from the TV on a decrepit video tape, and eventually it stopped working due to overuse.
It's a good job I'll laugh at anything if it stands still long enough, because it's really not that funny anymore. The CGI is pants, and Lee Evans definitely didn't flourish as a brilliant comedian for a few more years after this.
It's good fun though and some scenes do still make me chuckle, and one or two are enough to make me laugh out loud. Worth a watch but don't expect either of the leads to be at their best.
Also - are they really allowed to say "You little bastard?" in a PG?

Growing up, I watched this film so many times. Cute concept and fairly well executed.

Surprisingly as entertaining as it was when I loved it as a kid. Clever and great score.

Watched it with my 11 year old. My older kids loved it when they were little and I think it stands he test of time. CGI not too clunky.

Ideal for a break during finals week. Simple, cute... DOESN'T MAKE YOU THINK.

Another movie that I saw a bunch of times thanks to it being incessantly on HBO. It's not great, but it's far more enjoyable than it looks. Looking back, it's pretty funny that this was Gore Verbinski's first film, but it fits. It's very visually assured.

Always a delight for me to rewatch. It is silly , full on slapstick, Walken cameo ,Catzilla , what is not to love .

I should rewatch this.
