<---- look at the blow dried hair on the film poster!
This gets an extra star for being unintentionally hilarious. No wonder Charlie Sheen signed up for 'Hot Shots' the year after making this. If the film makers were aiming for a sexy, overly-macho, 'Top Gun' style affair, they missed the aircraft carrier by several nautical miles.
Jo Whalley and Michael Biehn take the material faaar to seriously, Charlie Sheen is practically winking at the camera knowingly most of the time he's on screen.
In fact I'm also going to give this movie an extra half-point for the wardrobe department finding the worst hawaiian shirts I've ever seen in a movie. This was a wind-up, right? -
"Ooh Navy Seals!"

A film so mind-bogglingly inept that I refuse to believe that it ever saw the inside of a cinema. However, Bill Paxton's death scene is priceless.

The cover says it all, it had guns, army shit and emotions.

The original "Zero Dark Thirty." Accept no substitutes. #Winning

Feels like a Michael Bay film at times with the action and comedy in it.

America - Fuck Yeah!

Kind of a TOP GUN rip off imo! Was alright, but the ending was too contrived!

Não admira que não me lembrasse nada deste filme. Muito fraco. E ainda por cima enchem chouriço em quase duas horas. Safam-se as piadas e pouco mais.

A great 80's example of war films where you can pick the loose cannons and you know who is not coming home. This is your action team heading into the hot zones from the late eighties, the middle east primarily and the start of the terrorist threat and the brave men that risked everything to do the jobs that needed done. Well worth seeing if you like the action and running gun battles without all the shaky-cam that has come in to films in the last few years.

Dreadful attempt to do for the Navy what Top Gun did for the Air Force.
Ends up probably being more effective as an Al-Qaeda recruitment video.Full rant here: www.joescaramanga.co.uk/blog/?p=259
