My expectations were not high when I started this film, and it's far from a runaway success, as the structure seems contrived and it's just as predictable as any romantic comedy you could name, if not more so. But I think this one's special. It walks an extremely fine line, with writing full of the cynical affectations and awkward characterizations that populate every off-beat teen comedy since Napoleon Dynamite, and I'm sure the dialogue will annoy a lot of people into a blind rage on principle alone. The difference here is that this time the constant apathy and pop culture references aren't ornaments to distract from the fact that the characters are empty shells. The film thankfully puts character first,…

El final es un poco cheesy, pero me encanta cómo plasma lo absurdo de vivir en una metrópoli. Tal vez me gusta porque soy provinciano.

Well at least the soundtrack was good...

I saw this movie for the first time in 2009 when it came out on DVD. And I absolutely loved it! This movie reaches a new level of hipster though. But I didn't mind that. I love Michael Cera and his awkward character in this movie. I also really liked how it was set in NYC. I must say, if a movie is to be set in one place, NYC is the place to be. I have this movie on my iPod/iTunes and watch it almost every time i'm on a road trip! Great movie! Go buy it or rent it if you can find a place to get it!

i don't know why, but after watching this film all i want to do is to jump in my shabby old purple car, get some friends of mine in there too, turn my best of 90's mixtape on (which has some really angry female grunge voices on it) and cruise through the nightlife! --- i guess i become infected with the hipster-virus, oh my! no more indie romance for me!

Funny teen comedy about life, love and music. I always feel like I should find Michael Cera's wimpy nice guy irritating and yet I never do.

¨The world is broken into pieces and everyone has to find them and put them back together. ¨
Nick and Nora`s Infinite Playlist isn`t just another teen rom-com with stupid humor, clichés, and one dimensional characters; it is very original with an interesting chemistry between the two leads (Michael Cera and Kat Dennings), a very good soundtrack, and a beautiful backdrop of New York City`s night life. It is a very different kind of movie that doesn`t have a clever script like Juno did, but it is still pretty well written by Lorene Scafaria, and has its up and downs moments. The movie only lasts about 90 minutes, which is a probably a good thing because it began to drag…
