Aah, young master Furlong. How thou must thinketh back towards merrier times when thou couldst ride alongside Master Schwarzenegger and combat the nefarious T-1000.
Whatever happened, young sir? Whatever happened.... -
A fan of the original, and I'm pleased to say this is a pretty good reinterpretation. Shannon Elizabeth is hot, but no one beats the original demonic Angela. Glad to see the lipstick scene got remade. Got me interested to go back and watch the original and it's sequels. Still can't stand Eddie Furlong, in anything.

Just irredeemable shit. Ed Furlong has a face like a 70's handbag full of sick.

Whilst similar to House on Haunted Hill this involves 'teenagers' which makes their decision making laughable at best. As such it questions how anyone gets out alive in these films and it doesnt bode well for the next generation if the survivors still cant make any sensible decisions.
Anyway this aside, it does get an extra half star as the first 30 minutes is basically soft core porn with heavily breasted ladies. Some of which also appear to like other heavily breasted ladies.
Demons. Not the smartest.

If you like vacuous acting, ineffective scares, snail-like pacing and large cleavages, you're in for a treat. You could say I enjoyed a quarter of the movie, but that would be generous. Why make a B-movie of a B-movie? Utterly pointless.

Um remake de serie B de um filme de serie B de 1988. O outro já foi B de Bad este leva B de Bullshit!!

The 1988 version of Night of the Demons is by no means a masterpiece, but since it was released during my impressionable teenage years, I kind of love it. It’s slow-going and takes forever to get to the gore, but when it does, it’s a mix of terror and WTF moments, involving lipstick being ingested by boob and naughty 80s dancing.
Unfortunately, the remake gets everything wrong. It starts off with a back story shown as if it’s a silent movie. Wait, what? Why? And then spirals into ridiculousness by casting Shannon Elizabeth as Goth Girl Angela and by somehow trying to make us believe that hot-as-hell Monica Keena (don’t even get me started on her “scary” costume) would have…

Okay remake of an alright 80s horror flick. A forgettable, but totally watchable film that never takes itself seriously, and never breaks down into self-referential parody. I respect that.

Alot of wasted potential - especially in third act, (The less said about Furlong- the better). But all in all mildly enjoyable sleaze.
